Ivy Day School is looking for a caring, patient, and dedicated Bilingual English/Spanish Helper to join our team!
Are you a College student interested in Early Childhood Education? Looking for hands-on experience working with young children while continuing your studies? This is a great opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and work alongside experienced teachers.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Assist the Head Teacher with supervising children
- Help implement daily lesson plans and classroom activities
- Support children’s daily routines and learning
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and hygiene
- Serve meals and assist children during mealtimes
- Supervise bathroom use and assist with toileting
- Assist with diaper changes when needed
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment
- Provide support to teachers and children as needed throughout the day
Qualifications:
- Some experience working or volunteering with children under 5 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Interest in or currently studying Early Childhood Education
- Caring, patient, responsible, and dependable
- Enjoys working with young children
- Ability to work well as part of a team
The selected candidate will be required to complete:
- Medical clearance
- Background clearance
- Required workshops and trainings
College students majoring in Early Childhood Education or a related field are strongly encouraged to apply!
