GED Instructor - Part Time

SUNY Orange's Continuing Education Division, SUNY Orange Plus, is seeking part-time GED Instructors to support adult learners ages 18 and older. We are currently seeking instructors to teach in person in Newburgh on weekday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

• English Language Arts and Social Studies:
  Two mornings per week Mathematics and Science:
  Two mornings per week

These part-time teaching positions are for the spring semester, running from January through the end of March.

• Bachelor's Degree At least two (2) years of experience teaching high school level subjects with youth or adults
  
  Preferred:
  Certification in the subjects to be taught, ELA or Math K-12
  
  At least three (3) years of experience teaching secondary level subjects
  
  Master's Degree in the subject areas

• Deadline for Applying:

  Position Begins:
  January 11, 2027
  
  Hourly Rate: $34.50 per hour
