Position Summary:

Provide Electrical engineering support for both Power and controls to the Production, Maintenance, and Engineering departments. Help ensure Electrical Engineering Projects are completed safely, on-time and on-budget, while helping to maximize production efficiencies and output through electrical equipment installations, troubleshooting, and the minimization of equipment down time.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Project Management
  - Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and deliver projects on time and on budget. Preparing and completing action plans. Establish installation schedules, select contractors, coordinate equipment shutdowns, and supervise project installations.
• Leadership – Provide direction, coaching, and mentoring to the Maintenance electrical associates while helping to drive accountability. Lead or participate in various continuous improvement teams.
• Troubleshooting – Able to determine root cause and resolution of electrical equipment issues as quickly as possible by utilizing troubleshooting best practices while working with and directing union Maintenance resources.
• Safety – Be knowledgeable about current NFPA, NEC, IEEE standards, OSHA electrical equipment codes, and general electrical equipment best practices. Remain current by participating in periodic safety audits and training.
• Work Instructions
  - Generate work instructions and documentation as required for in plant electricians to operate power distribution and controls equipment.
• Continuous Improvement – Provide recommendations for process improvements, equipment upgrades, improved training activities, energy efficiency opportunities, and strategic plans.

• BS Electrical Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering from accredited college or university. Can have technical training and equivalent experience.
