Join to apply for the Yield Improvement Engineer role at Cornell Dubilier - Manufacturer of Power Capacitors in Cazenovia, New York. This full‑time position offers an annual salary range of $100,000 to $130,000, reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and provide detailed summaries and reports for industrial process monitoring, diagnostics, and optimization using data‑driven approaches.
- Establish, deploy, and standardize enhanced data analysis systems across manufacturing facilities to increase yields and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, program development, and finance teams to develop, track, and summarize initiatives driving improvement of critical yield KPIs.
- Initiate and support continuous process improvement efforts alongside local engineering and finance teams.
- Develop and implement structured problem‑solving methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, RCCA) and documentation across U.S. manufacturing facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; certifications and experience with data analytics are a plus.
- 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment focused on process engineering, yield improvements, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and drive change.
- Proficiency in project management and change management principles; ability for rapid analysis and decision making.
- Experience with Six Sigma quality and data analysis; proficiency with Minitab, JMP, or equivalent software.
- Familiarity with creating dashboards and reports for production data, linking yield, defects, and key attribute data.
- Critical thinker and sound decision maker with strict attention to detail.
- Dedication to continuous improvement.
- Relocation to work in the factory at Cazenovia, NY.
