Automation and Service Technician

We are seeking a motivated Automation and Service Technician to join our team in East Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will contribute to the quality of JUMO's products and services by providing technical support and solutions to our customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as the primary contact for technical challenges faced by customers and internal teams;
• Implementing and configuring systems;
• Applying knowledge of measurement and control technology to optimize processes;
• Supporting sales staff with technical expertise;
• Assessing customer needs and recommending suitable JUMO products and applications;
• Producing orders aligned with sales targets;
• Configuring and programming hardware such as PID controllers and PLCs;
• Participating in internal training programs.

Qualifications:

• Electromechanical Technology Certificate or similar with 2 years of practical experience, or
• Associate degree in Instrumentation, Measurement & Control Technology, Electrical Technology, Electromechanical Technology, or related field with 1 year of practical experience;
• Strong customer-oriented attitude;
• Knowledge of process engineering, measurement and control technology, PLC systems, and Microsoft Office;
• Analytical skills and effective communication abilities.

Pay Range: $22.50 - $30.05 per hour
