Total compensation for the Electrical Controls Estimator in New York City, NY is between $100,000 and $120,000 per year. • Prepare estimates for a range of projects in high volume.
• Work on projects including all types of low voltage systems, specifically building automation and building management.
• Estimate the controls scope including control devices, wiring diagrams, and integration with BMS/BAS systems.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Preconstruction Teams to coordinate meetings and review documents.
• Prepare reports for management.
• Negotiate change-orders.

• Must have 1+ years’ experience in electrical controls with familiarity of BMS/BAS systems.
• Must have experience bidding on commercial projects - low voltage.
• Strong employment stability; demonstrates prioritization, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Journeyman License or Degree
