Chemical Engineer

We are hiring a Chemical Engineer in Albany, NY to join Jacobs.

Base pay range: $58,656.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

• Accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks.
• Gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Establish chemical process design basis and develop process options and optimizations.
• Calculate and organize data for process flow sheets.
• Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary, highly interactive team.
• Apply expertise to deliver with excellence while looking toward the future.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of chemical engineering experience on advanced manufacturing projects (ideal).
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification (ideal).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices, and willing to contribute innovative ideas.
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and a drive to broaden knowledge.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Passion for buildings and construction (ideal).
