Cracow University of Technology ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT IN THE GROUP OF RESEARCH AND TEACHING STAFF in the Department of Infotronics and Cybersecurity (E-3) at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering

Scientific discipline represented: Automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technologies (or related)
Organizational unit: Department of Infotronics and Cybersecurity (E-3)
Researcher profile: R1
- completed MSc/ME degree (or equivalent) in the field of Electrotechnics, Electrical Engineering (or related fields)
- significant achievements during master studies and/or previous professional career, including scientific publications, patents, taking part in research or R&D projects, completing Polish and foreign internships etc.
- strong commitment to research, teaching and organizational work
- very good command of English (B2 level minimum) and Polish (in case of foreigners)
- completed pedagogical course or willingness to complete the course within the first year of employment
2. Additional requirements:
- knowledge of control system integration with IT systems
- knowledge of the application of artificial intelligence algorithms in automation systems
3. Scope of tasks performed/job description (duties and powers):
- preparing and conducting classes in Polish in the field of Electrical Eng., Infotronics (graduate and undergraduate levels) - according to the employment regulations at the Cracow University of Technology the assigned teaching load is 240 class hours and consulting students
- conducting interdisciplinary scientific research (as part of a team or independently) with significant use of engineering knowledge and information technologies, documented in scientific publications mainly in the discipline of Automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technologies (official faculty discipline)
- taking care of didactic laboratories, preparing instructions and didactic materials for conducted classes, carrying out evaluations etc.
- tasks related to cooperation with industry (R&D projects, grants, etc)
- organizational work in the department, faculty and/or university
