Overview
Title:
Quality Engineer – Spacecraft Testing
Duration: 3 Months Contract
Shift: M–F, 7 AM–4 PM
We’re seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) to support Engineering Validation Testing (EVT) for spacecraft, including Thermal Vacuum, Dynamic, Propulsion, and EMI testing. This role may require off-shift, weekend, and overtime work to support 24/7 test operations.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with procedures and customer requirements during EVT.
- Support pre-/post-test reviews, ensuring setups, calibrations, and signoffs are complete.
- Document and disposition nonconformances/test flags in TIPQA/JIRA.
- Assist with operational tasks (e.g., solar array integration, installations, bus movements).
- Participate in daily planning/updates with customer and cross-functional teams.
- Lead/support RCCA activities.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering + 3+ years’ Quality Engineering experience (Aerospace preferred).
- Knowledge of AS9100/ISO
9001, QMS procedures, and customer contract compliance. - Strong RCCA, communication, and technical presentation skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings/electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; EVT experience strongly preferred.
