Transportation Project Engineer

This Transportation Engineer Position will work with a professional engineer to design and detail plans on a variety of projects, including State/County highways, bridge rehabilitation/replacement, local roads, and other site/civil projects. There will be opportunities to engage projects at all stages of design and construction including feasibility, design decisions, drainage, permitting, bidding, and construction administration. Transportation Engineering

$75,000 - $95,000

Full-time

Minimum five (5) years’ experience, preferably with EIT, PE is a plus

Strong knowledge and experience in local and state linear transportation, pavement design, drainage system evaluation, intersection design, turning lane warrants, maintenance/ protection of traffic plans, and NYSDOT specifications/ details.

Microstation and/or AutoCAD Civil3D experience

Good technical writing and communication skills

Knowledge in plan and specification preparation
