17 is partnering with a fast-growing renewable energy developer that is expanding its utility-scale portfolio across the US. They are seeking an Origination Manager to shape commercial strategy and secure offtake agreements that will underpin their next phase of growth.
As Origination Manager, you’ll take the lead in developing relationships with utilities, corporates, and other buyers to deliver high-value PPA and VPPA agreements. This is a pivotal position where you’ll work alongside an experienced development team, enjoy a high degree of autonomy, and have a direct impact on project success.
Responsibilities- Drive origination offtake strategy for utility-scale solar and storage projects.
- Negotiate and close both virtual and physical PPAs.
- Identify and build long-term relationships with utilities, corporates, and other potential counter parties.
- Collaborate closely with development and commercial teams to maximise project value.
- Stay ahead of market trends and spot new opportunities for growth.
- 5+ years of experience in renewable energy origination or structured power markets.
- Demonstrated success closing VPPA and PPA agreements.
- Strong knowledge of the utility-scale solar and/or storage market.
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Based in Florida (or open to relocation with support).
