You are a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical design principles. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative drone technologies to life. - Design and develop mechanical components and systems for autonomous drone platforms, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
- Conduct analysis and simulations to validate designs, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics analysis.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers, software engineers, and product managers to integrate mechanical systems with other subsystems.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
- Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical designs, making iterative improvements based on test results.
- Identify and resolve design issues through root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to drive innovation in mechanical design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis, preferably in the aerospace or defense industries.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
- Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to aerospace applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
- Experience with UAV systems or aerospace products is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO
9001 and AS9100 standards is highly desirable.
