This role will be based in our offices in Churubusco NY
. Daily commute is required.

This is an supervisory & administrative position that includes both management of technicians and performance of office administrative duties. The person holding this position is responsible for the non technical duties on the site. Ensure technician training and procedures are tracked and up to date. Duties also include: a) Managing Parts Warehouse, b) Assisting with personnel issues specific to company policy, c) collaboration with other sites regarding AES values and company policies & procedures, d) Assisting with growth and leadership of the technicians.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct all work activities in a professional, environmentally conscious, and safe manner.
  • Assure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Ensure parts are tracked exiting/entering the facility along with maintenance consumables.
  • Ensure facility invoices are tracked and submitted on time.
  • Assist with IT challenges that may inconvenience the site.
  • Coordinate and Schedule onsite meetings with local community leaders.
  • Ensure budget compliance and work with Manager on correcting budget variances.
  • Forecast balance of year budget on a monthly, or as needed basis.
  • Maintain and complete tactical processes in a team oriented, multi-discipline environment.
  • Complete other tasks as requested by the Regional Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with local contractual requirements, such as Complaint log filing, required publication of company information.
  • Assist with coordination of landowner concerns as they arise.
  • Encourage safety, integrity and ownership that does not relay on force or manipulation.
  • Champion technician development/advancement in Technician Level Advancement Program.
Qualifications Experience
  • 3 – 5 years’ related experience required working in a power plant environment preferred.
  • Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Planning, organizational and good decision-making skills
  • Capability to multi-task and prioritize work for the team.
  • Ability to handle constantly changing and emerging work priorities & schedules.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with various personality types desired.
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office and other computer-based efficiency tools.
  • Some travel will be required on a limited basis for training seminars/cross site training.
  • On site role!
  • 10/15 % travel required in the first year.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associates Technical/Electronic Degree or minimum 3 years of work experience in electrical/electronic repair industry, mechanical field.
