Role
Electrical Engineering Lead
LocationSchenectady, NY
Duration12 Months
Responsibilities- Lead cross‑organizational teams and manage day‑to‑day work toward long‑term goals.
- Solve problems, resolve conflicts, and influence decisions while meeting deadlines.
- Communicate effectively across functions and present technical information clearly.
- Program‑manage multiple technical projects and maintain high motivation and energy.
- Detailed engineering for gas and steam power plant projects.
- Design of electrical equipment:
Motor Control Center, batteries, 52G generator breaker, neutral grounding, generator protection, AC/DC panel boards, cabinets, and cable sizing. - Develop plant single line diagrams, technical specifications, and review customer specifications, preparing deviation lists.
- Apply NEC, ANSI, IEEE, IEC standards and manage suppliers, reviewing and approving drawings and documentation.
- Manage stakeholders from various departments and communicate written and verbally.
- Experience in cable sizing per NEC and plant single line diagram development.
- Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
