Senior Estimator

We need a Senior Estimator with experience in steel and miscellaneous metals

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Initial review of Request for Proposal (RFP) and setup of bids
• Gathering proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents
• Computing costs and preparing estimates by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
• Review of Requests for Information (RFI) and all documentation provided by customers
• Site walkthroughs for new bids and existing project change orders
• Summarizing findings to evaluate site/installation logistics
• Reviewing scope sheets and participating in bid interviews
• Finalizing project costs and review of bid riders and all aspects of bid paperwork
• Closing the Statements of Work (SOW) and negotiating with customers for preparation of best and final bid submissions

• 5+ years of experience in estimating construction projects
• Experience reviewing RFPs and SOWs and making changes with project progression
• Experience networking with architects, engineers, projects managers, and clients
• Record of high accuracy in cost estimation
• Strong Microsoft excel and digital PDF marking skills (Acrobat, Blue Team, etc)

• Comprehensive understanding of delivery logistics
• Robust knowledge of installation complexities
• Ability to work across connected smart devices

The estimated total compensation including healthcare, 401k, and medical for this position is $135k - $145k based on skills and performance.
