Structural Engineer - Building

We’re partnering with a well‑established structural engineering firm in Brooklyn seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of building projects across the five boroughs—ranging from new construction to rehabilitation and adaptive reuse.

• Perform structural analysis and design for building projects using steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems
• Prepare construction documents, specifications, and technical reports
• Conduct site visits and inspections to support design and construction phases
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure project quality and deadlines are met
• Assist in reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 3–10 years of experience in building design and structural engineering
• Strong knowledge of NYC Building Code and structural design standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software—RISA, ETABS, SAP
  2000, STAAD, or similar
• EIT or PE license preferred (or in progress)
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
