Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year

Senior Energy Engineer (Lead Engineer) NYC

We are seeking a Senior Energy Engineer capable of Leading Business Development efforts, assist engineering team providing project management oversight for services including energy audits, retro-commissioning, construction review, and Energy incentive program for local Utility, State & Federal (ConED, NYSERDA, etc.). Seeking a self-start and deliver high value to the client with minimal oversight from Project Managers and Senior Management. The Senior Energy Engineer is semi-autonomous who can collaborate directly with client stakeholders in Senior Management Positions on a daily basis.

• 10 year of Engineering consulting experience in Energy Efficiency sector.
• Local Business Development experience within Energy Efficient, Decarbonization, Controls Markets.
• PE, CEM, or other similar Energy/Engineering credentials.
• Knowledge of Energy Audit and Retro-Commissioning process and practices.
• Working experience with Building Management Systems/Building Automation Systems (BMS/BAS)
• Working knowledge of NY/NJ utility incentive programs (Con Ed, NYSERDA, NJ Smart Start)
• Energy Project Finance and Funding Methods.
• Team & Project Management Oversight
