Main responsibilities will include assisting the Senior Network Engineers in the design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of the following layers:

• Outside Plant & Fibre
• Inside Plant & Racks, Cabling, etc
• DWDM
• SDH
• IP
• DCN
• Critical Infrastructure (Space, Power, Cooling)
• Utilising bespoke inventory systems and applying a methodical, logical approach to data analysis and manipulation
• The role will also offer the chance to travel
• Enthusiasm, motivation and willingness to learn and take on responsibility
• This is a great opportunity to gain industry experience with a view to potentially securing a long-term role

• Knowledge of telecommunication principles
• Conversant with Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• IP principles and Networks experience desirable
• Advanced Excel or Access Skills
• AC/DC Power experience desirable
• Practical/hands-on experience with telecommunication equipment (routers, switches, etc)

• Degree or MSc qualified in an Engineering Subject
