Senior Controls Specialist – Remote (Covering NY State)

$120,000 – $170,000 + Quarterly Bonus + 401(k) Match + Flexible PTO + Tiered Benefits

Remote – Commutable from Albany, Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, New York City, White Plains

On offer is a field-based, client-facing position where you’ll lead BAS/DDC control projects from concept through commissioning. You’ll work closely with a team of experienced engineers, support high-profile clients, and help drive smarter, more efficient energy use in buildings across NY. All with the backing of formal and informal training, and a clear track to leadership.

This role would suit a technically strong Controls Engineer or Specialist looking for more autonomy, direct client impact, and a step up into leadership.

The Role:

• Lead and support the design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of BAS/DDC systems
• Remote/field-based autonomy with a flexible schedule and quarterly performance-based bonuses
• Clear development path into a Supervisor role, with hands-on mentorship and training support

The Candidate:

• Experience in BAS/DDC controls
• Comfortable working autonomously and client-facing across multiple project sites
• Based in NY State or nearby, with ability to travel to client sites as needed
