We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Environmental Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable solutions to complex environmental challenges in our rapidly growing city.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for new development projects
- Design and oversee the implementation of waste management systems
- Develop and implement pollution control strategies for air, water, and soil
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability practices into urban planning and infrastructure projects
- Utilize AutoCAD and GIS software to create detailed environmental plans and maps
- Analyze environmental data and create models to predict long-term impacts
- Manage environmental projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations
- Provide technical expertise on environmental issues to stakeholders and government agencies
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in environmental engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS software, and environmental modeling tools
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments and developing mitigation strategies
- Expertise in waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices
- Familiarity with climate change mitigation strategies and their implementation
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites within the UAE when required
