Location: New York
Job Title – Traffic Engineer
Location – Hybrid(NYC)
Position – 6 to 12+ Month contract
Rate – $Open/hr
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum five (5) years of traffic engineering experience with a focus on traffic engineering design.
- Traffic Engineering experience in the design of roadways, roadway closures, guide signs, pavement markings, intersections, toll plazas, pedestrian elements and bicycle accommodations.
- Understanding of traffic engineering standards and guidelines such as the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), AASHTO Green Book, and AASHTO Roadside Design Guide
- Experience with design software of AutoCAD, and Auto Turn
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with Port Authority Design Standards and Processes, Traffic Standard Details, Specifications, Cost Estimating, and PA Policy & Procedures is desired.
- Must be able to report to 4
WTC at the start and for the duration of this project.
