Job Description
WSP USA is seeking a Scheduler to support our client, NYC School Construction Authority (SCA). The candidate will prepare and review construction schedules for various projects at different stages of development.
Your Impact- Review schedule concepts, including baseline and monthly schedule updates
- Review claims and related analysis and assist with response letters to contractor claims as necessary
- Analyze schedules, identify potential issues, and develop solutions
- Develop logical sequencing of the work, contract durations, and phasing
- Utilize the computer program Primavera/Expedition
- Review and analyze claims, time extensions, and impact on costs
- Develop schedules for new and renovation type construction
- Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited institution with a major in architecture, construction management, engineering, environmental services, or related coursework
- 3‑5 years of experience scheduling new, rehab, or additions/alterations type construction projects
- Experience developing logical sequencing, contract durations, and phasing
- Proficiency in Primavera/Expedition
- Experience reviewing and analyzing claims, time extensions, and cost impact
- Experience with new and renovation type construction
- Demonstrated responsible and ethical decision‑making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adherence to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and complying with WSP’s health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies
Expected Salary: $65,300 - $125,300. WSP USA reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range and to offer additional benefits based on experience, education, and internal equity.
