Job DescriptionIf you are a team player with a passion to develop your career in Bridge Inspection, Popli Design Group (PDG) is the place for you! PDG is seeking a Junior Engineer to join our growing and talented team.
As a Junior Engineer specializing in Bridge Inspection, your responsibilities will include assisting the Bridge Inspection Team Leaders in conducting field inspections, contributing to data collection, and performing structural analyses of bridges to assess their capacity. You will also handle data entry into inspection software, develop structural drawings using CADD, and compile reports.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of structural concepts related to bridges and highway structures. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and experience with AutoCAD or Micro Station is preferred.
Responsibilities- Assist in field inspections under the guidance of team leaders.
- Perform structural analyses to determine bridge capacity.
- Enter data into inspection software and develop structural drawings.
- Document bridge conditions clearly, with referenced photographs.
- Ensure quality and accuracy in work.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to drive a work van/truck.
- Combination of office and field work, including travel to project sites.
- Work in various weather conditions and physical ability to perform inspection tasks.

Salary Range$70,000 - $100,000, commensurate with experience.
