About the RoleWe are looking for a qualified Structural/Civil Engineer to perform inspections and assessments of civil structures within a road or infrastructure project. The role focuses on evaluating structural integrity, documenting defects, and recommending maintenance or repair works to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct field inspections of civil/structural assets such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, tunnels, underpasses, and barriers.
- Identify and document structural defects such as cracks, spalling, corrosion, deformation, settlement, water leakage, and joint failures.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports including photographs, measurements, condition ratings, and engineering observations.
- Recommend corrective or preventive maintenance actions based on inspection results.
- Support structural condition surveys (RCS) and routine inspections.
- Coordinate with Project Manager, Maintenance Teams, and Client representatives.
- Monitor and follow up on corrective maintenance works on site.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, logs, and databases.
- Ensure compliance with Ashghal standards, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in structural/civil inspection (road or infrastructure).
- Overall experience 8–12 years.
- Strong knowledge of concrete and structural behavior, defects, and repair methods.
- Familiarity with O&M projects, asset inspection, and preventive/corrective maintenance is an advantage.
- Proficiency in report writing and inspection documentation.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
- Valid Qatar (transferable) preferred.
- Immediate joiners are an advantage.
