Product Quality Engineer (PQE) in support of MSW Operations shall support the Quality Program Manager across multiple programs at the Owego site. The Product Quality Engineer (PQE) shall support assigned programs to ensure product delivered to the customer meets expectations and all requirements imposed. Program performance shall be monitored and reported, build documentation shall be reviewed and approved, and PQE will interface with CM, PC, and Program Management on a regular basis.
PQE shall also support inspection activities, reclamation areas, manufacturing build, packaging and shipping areas. Floor support includes:
First Article Inspection per AS9100 of all parts and assemblies, investigation/resolution of problems/issues, monitoring/auditing/support to manufacturing, assembly and shipment. As requested from QPM, review/input to SOW, preparation of Certificate of Conformance for assemblies and product to be shipped when required. Interface with internal departments regarding problem/issue review/resolution, Customer and DCMA interface when required. WHO YOU ARE

Basic Qualifications:
Ability to travel Technical Degree (B.S. or A.A.S. or equivalent) Exhibit business professionalism and values Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Effective communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) and be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders. An understanding of audit techniques. Ability to interpret drawings and specifications. Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems. Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired
Skills:
Have knowledge of AS9100D Quality System and pertinent Quality practices. Previous experience working directly with, or in direct support of, Quality Assurance Systems Applications and Products (SAP) experience/ Solumina Experience
Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board) An understanding and familiarity with Production Operations
Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment Knowledge of data analytics / statistics with ability to perform under minimal guidance Quality Engineering experience Understanding of Tableau, Pareto Analysis and Statistical Process Control
Security Clearance Statement:

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
