Origis Energy is seeking a finance professional for the role ofInvestment Associate or Manager to join our growing team. This position will assist the Company in evaluating, underwriting and managing investments in utility scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage System projects, evaluating project-level financing options, performance reporting and asset management for existing operational projects.

TheInvestment Associate or Manager is a regular, full-time position, and is eligible for our generous employee benefits package, including employer paid health insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions, and other great benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investment related tasks, including:
  • Excel-based project financial modeling, structuring support, ad-hoc investment analysis
  • Build and maintain project financial models throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, from inception through operations
  • Liaising with relevant cross-functional stakeholders (Business Development, Project Development, Engineering, O&M, Procurement, Tax, Data Science, Legal, Capital Markets) to ensure project information is accurate and consistent
  • Preparation and presentation of pricing and final investment memos to the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and investment committee
  • Analyzing and evaluating strategic corporate M&A opportunities
  • Provide modeling support and guidance to Capital Markets team on debt and tax equity project financings
  • Assisting with pricing, negotiation, and evaluation of power purchase agreements (PPAs) and battery tolling agreements, with a particular focus on performance forecasting and quantifying financial impacts of risks and key terms; performing analysis of existing contracted and operating fleet to benchmark underwriting against real-time data to create a feed-back loop for process improvement
