Position Summary:
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be an experienced electrical engineer with a background in bringing consumer or industrial products to the market. This position is in the Electrical Engineering team working alongside a team with PCB design and firmware expertise. This position will also support the functions of the R&D – Electrical Department to meet the requirements of the relevant ISO 9001:2015 standards based on the quality objectives established by Top Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schematic design and PCB layout.
- Microcontroller firmware development.
- Linux kernel and Android software development.
- FPGA RTL development.
- Create, validate, and debug electrical designs.
- Identify electrical issues and determine root cause.
- Perform board modifications or rework to aid in debugging.
- Verify new designs for both functional correctness and reliability criteria.
- Meets required ISO 9001:2015 standards and necessary training based on the relevant Quality Objectives.

Minimal Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
- 8 years’ experience in a relevant technical field.
- Proficient in C programming language and microprocessor development.
- Proficient in RTL development (Verilog or VHDL).
- Experience with schematic and PCB design.
- Experience with soldering and board rework.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Travel: Up to 5%, with willingness to travel to manufacturing partner locations internationally, if required.
Physical Demands: Frequently required to sit, speak, hear, see, and perform repetitive motion (data entry). Occasionally required to lift or carry (10 lb. minimum). Reasonable accommodations will be made available if applicable.
