Your Opportunity

Stantec is seeking a Structural Design Manager to lead high-profile pursuits and project delivery efforts across the New York City Metropolitan area. Working in with Transit and Rail team, this position is ideal for an engineering professional who is well versed in Alternative Project Delivery (APD) pursuits and capable of stepping into a visible leadership role.

In this role you’ll work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of engineers, and architects on high-profile and transformative transit infrastructure projects throughout the NYC region and across North America. Some exciting projects that Stantec’s NYC team is actively working on include, Brewster Yard Improvements Phase 1, Elevator replacements at NYCT transit stations, NYCT ADA Package 7 and Newark Liberty Airport Air Tran replacement, as well as numerous other transit improvement projects for our local clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit teams for large APD opportunities within the New York City Metropolitan area while serving as a key point of contact for contractors, marketing, commercial management, and design teams.

• Guide the development of technical and cost proposals that win work and build long-term partnerships.
