Traffic Engineer

JMC, a leading Site Planning, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture and Land Surveying firm in Westchester County, NY, seeks motivated Traffic Engineers with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team as an Traffic Engineer
.

• Traffic and Transportation Engineering that includes:
  • Highway Improvement Plant Design
  • Traffic Signal Plan Design
  • Traffic and Parking Studies
• Attend Technical Meetings with Clients and Government Officials
• Attend Project Public Meetings
• Also preferred knowledge of:
  • Site Planning
  • Civil/Site Design and Preparation of Site
  • Preparation of Technical Reports
  • Grading and Drainage Design
  • Utility Design, including public and private sewer and water systems
  • Stormwater Management and SWPPP Preparation, including erosion control plans
  • GIS Mapping

Compensation commensurate with experience. • Bachelor’s Degree required
• EIT or PE registration a plus
• AutoCAD experience required
• Synchro Traffic Analysis Software a plus
• Excellent writing, communication and analytical skills.
