Systems Engineer
Black River Systems Company, is looking for a Signal Processing Engineer. We are looking for someone who can develop signal processing algorithms to detect, decode, and process digital communication signals. You will participate in field tests, signal modeling for operational planning, building, and testing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems, such as software-defined radios (SDRs), for use in protype signal collection and processing systems.
Position Responsibilities:- Incorporating traditional Signal Processingaswellas Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial
Intelligence (AI) techniques. - Implementingalgorithmsinhardwaresystemsasresearchprogressestowardoperationalimplementation.
- Bachelor A060inmath,electricalengineeringorrelatedfieldandindustryexperience is desired.
- Familiaritywithsoftwaredefinedradiohardwareandsoftwareinterfaces.
- Experienceinreceiverdesignincludingdigitalfiltering,channel estimation,equalization, demodulation, and decoding.
- Proficiencyinsomeorallofthefollowingprogramminglanguages:
MATLAB,Python. Familiarity in C/C++ is a plus. - Excellentcommunicationskillsneededtoexplaincomplexsignalingsystemswiththe ability to provide technical support for hardware design.
