Corning Incorporated in Fairport, NY, seeks a summer engineering intern to support the manufacturing and engineering of high-precision optical systems in the Advanced Optics division. You will work with the optical design team to model, tolerance, and analyze complex systems from concept to completion.
The internship requires a BS/MS candidate with three years of higher ed, coursework in geometrical/physical optics and interferometry, and experience with MATLAB, Python, or Excel VBA.
