Energy Engineer | New York City | Hybrid
We’re looking for an experienced Energy Engineer to join a leading consulting engineering firm in NYC, focusing on energy efficiency, commissioning, and high-performance building systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and manage energy analysis, commissioning, and field investigations.
- Evaluate HVAC, lighting, and building automation and control systems.
- Support project development, proposal writing, and client engagement.
- Mentor junior engineers and help improve building system performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–8 years of consulting engineering experience.
- Knowledge of NYC building and energy codes, HVAC systems, and lighting controls.
- Experience with energy modeling software is preferred.
- PE license, LEED, CEM, or commissioning credentials are a plus.
