This Opportunity We are looking for a talented Structural Engineer to join our growing Geotechnical and Tunneling Team in New York City.

Your Impact Perform structural engineering design and analyses for tunnels and underground structures under the supervision of senior engineers

Design and analysis of reinforced concrete, steelwork, tunnel linings  Underground subway station framing design and analysis

Field inspection of existing underground structures

Field inspection of construction

Assist in the preparation of drawings, studies and designs of underground projects

Assist task leaders in preparation of reports and Contract Documents

Who You Are

Required Qualifications B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering3-5 years of post-education experience in structural or tunnel engineering practice

Strong background in structural analysis, familiar with structural engineering software such as SAP
2000, STAAD and spColumn

Familiar with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Micro Station or Revit Good understanding and knowledge of structural engineering and related disciplines (structures, civil, geotechnical, and planning)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with other disciplines, managers, and other staff)
Ability and willingness to travel and perform field work

Preferred Qualifications:

EIT preferredM.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering Internship(s) applying structural engineering skillsWSP Benefits:

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $94,400 - $125,000
