Join a Senior Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer to join a leading MEP consulting firm in New York City. What you’ll be doing :- Lead the design and engineering of plumbing and fire protection systems for complex healthcare facilities
- Collaborate with internal project teams and external clients to ensure design goals are met within budget and on schedule
- Conduct thorough design reviews, system modeling, and code compliance analysis
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design, with a focus on healthcare projects.
- PE license required (or in progress)
- Expertise in healthcare building codes and regulations
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and project expectations
