The ABS Manager of Aircraft Maintenance oversees the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance operations of three G550 aircraft and the aircraft mechanics who support these activities. The role requires a highly experienced individual with a strong background in aircraft maintenance, specifically the G550, and in people management. The individual must be capable of flying on the aircraft to support maintenance test flights and mission operations flights, and must be willing to travel for mission support.

Aeromet, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Schedule:

9/80 - employees work 9 out of every 14 days, totalling 80 hours worked, with every other Friday off (dependent on aircraft support).

• Lead and manage the maintenance and sustainment activities and maintenance personnel for a fleet of three G550 aircraft.
• Ensure the aircraft's operational readiness and mission success.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve platform performance.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of G550 aircraft maintenance to support maintenance and operational performance.
• Analyse and interpret maintenance data and reports to ensure mission availability objectives are met.
• Fly on the aircraft as required to support mission operations and system maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all flight and ground operations safety and regulatory requirements.

• Ability to fly on the G550 aircraft to support mission operations.
• Experience developing and implementing maintenance and sustainment plans.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules and risk management plans.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Preferred: understanding of DCMA 8210-1D requirements for aircraft operations.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as aviation maintenance management with a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
