CAD Designer

A leading electronics manufacturing company is seeking a CAD Designer with expertise in electrical engineering and Altium Designer for a permanent position. Our client specializes in high-speed digital and power electronics design, and this role involves designing complex multi-layer PCBs, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring manufacturability. • Design and lay out complex, multi-layer PCBs (4-16+ layers) using Altium Designer from schematic capture to production release.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to translate schematics into optimized layouts, ensuring signal, power, and thermal integrity.
• Perform component placement and routing for high-speed digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic designs.
• Define board stackups, impedance-controlled trace geometries, and via structures in coordination with fabricators.
• Create and maintain component libraries, footprints, and schematic symbols in Altium Designer.

• 5+ years of professional PCB layout experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Altium Designer (schematic capture, PCB layout, library management, output generation).
• At least 3+ years of continuous experience with Altium Designer.
• Strong understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes (SMT, through-hole, reflow, wave solder).
• Experience with high-speed digital (DDR, USB, Ethernet, HDMI) and power electronics layout (DC-DC converters, motor drivers, battery management systems).
