Head Engineer

Adecco is assisting a client in Rouses Point, NY in recruiting for a Head of Engineering & Facilities. This is a direct hire opportunity for an experienced engineering leader who can drive plant performance, equipment reliability, automation, facility operations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Lead engineering, maintenance, automation, and facilities functions.
• Oversee manufacturing equipment, robotics, PLC systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Drive preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability.
• Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities.
• Lead capital projects from planning through implementation.
• Support new product introductions, equipment trials, and production scale-up.
• Manage building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and fire protection.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and lead engineering and maintenance teams while managing departmental budgets.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 6+ years of engineering, maintenance, automation, or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience managing maintenance programs, capital projects, and facility operations.
• Experience with CMMS systems (Limble or similar).
• Strong knowledge of automation, robotics, PLCs, and manufacturing equipment.
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Experience in consumer products, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, or other regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.

This position requires regular presence throughout the manufacturing facility and occasional off-hours support for critical equipment issues or major projects.

For this particular assignment, must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $ per year
