Location: Jersey City, NJ – Hybrid.

As part of the trading team, the US Sports Trader will trade U.S. major‑league and college sports (American football, baseball, basketball, and ice hockey). The role includes managing risk, market liabilities and supporting product initiatives.

• Day‑to‑day trading on market moves for games, player props, and futures betting.
• Create new markets across all sports and settle them in a timely manner.
• Monitor market liabilities and manage risk across all markets.
• Manage customer risk profiles and identify betting patterns.
• Support product initiatives and deliver a wide range of markets.
• Accept bets through approvals functionality requiring quick decision making.
• Work with compliance on new sport, league and market approvals from U.S. states.
• Collaborate with content team to flag display issues and improve customer experience.
• Assisting traders with day‑to‑day operations and market moves.
• Provide operational support by creating betting sheets and configuring new leagues and markets.

• Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers for extended periods.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in U.S. sports trading.
• Passion for U.S. sports and expertise in sports statistics.
• Strong numerical and mathematical skills.
• Team player with excellent focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent knowledge of the rules of all sports and familiarity with the betting industry.
• Sports betting experience essential; familiarity with college and major league players.

The annual salary range for this position is $62,000 to $75,000. The role is also eligible for a performance‑based bonus plan.

As an online gaming company, BetMGM complies with state gaming regulations, including licensing obligations. Employees in qualifying positions must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency and maintain licensure. Failure to comply may result in termination.
