Parking Ambassador – White Plains Hospital
CompensationHourly Pay: $17 per hour
Vaccination RequirementsFlu and COVID‑19 vaccinations required.
Key Responsibilities- High School diploma required, college preferred; must be able to read and write English.
- Proficient computer skills – including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and strong aptitude for learning new software systems (e.g., Readiness Rounds, Epic).
- Previous customer service experience interacting with diverse public required.
- Bilingual – Spanish highly preferred.
- Mandatory in‑service training as needed.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
- Problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Maintain composure and professional demeanor under pressure.
- Always exhibits positive team‑oriented behavior with all staff, especially valet, security, transport and volunteers.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, adapt to new situations/procedures and multitask.
- Strong organization skills/attention to detail.
- May be exposed to chemicals necessary to perform required tasks; hazardous chemicals listed in the hospital’s SDS database.
- High energy level.
- Able to detect and greet all who arrive as they enter lobby.
- Able to exchange accurate information.
- Able to move throughout the building.
- Able to remain in a stationary position majority of the time.
- Able to operate computer and other office machinery.
- Able to operate wheelchair and transport patient if needed.
- Must practice patience, tact and caring nature at all times.
