Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee consistent and accurate inventory

• Enforce training documents, SOPs, side-work, and cleaning schedules.

• Hold staff accountable for standards, policies, and non-negotiables.

• Prepare work schedules, if needed, and preparing replacements.

• Identify and implement strategies to attract and retain customers.

• Operate and, if needed, troubleshoot Toast POS system.

• Assist and provide feedback on all marketing programming for the Canteen.

• Understand all departments and necessary point of contacts for all situations.

• Be an expert in all aspects of the Canteen.

Qualifications

• Provide top‑notch customer service to ensure you meet or exceed clients’ expectations.

• Excellent written and verbal skills.

• Excellent inter‑personal skills.

• Training, motivation and retention of Canteen staff.

• Ability to lift 30+ pounds.

• Continuous standing and walking throughout work shift.

• Ability to meet and perform the physical requirements and work effectively in an environment typical of this position.

• Food Handler’s license.

Work Schedule

• Full‑time position

• Must have Wednesday and Thursday availability

• Must have the flexibility to work a non‑traditional schedule – must have weekend, holiday and early morning/midday/late evening weekday availability.

Pay

• 19/hour + Tip
