** THE JOB
** The Coat Check’s overall responsibility is to maintain and secure the Coat Check area at all times. This role should provide excellent customer service to all guests, clients and fellow associates.
** WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
*** Serve as a resource of information for all Guests and Members regarding their experience in the music area.
* Provide assistance to all positions and communicate effectively with others to enhance guest and members experience
* Ability to balance tickets issued to revenue
* Articulate vocabulary with the ability to adapt and socialize with current audience
* Maintain clean and organized coatroom
* Place coat check tabs on hangers in numerical order
* Ability to anticipate guests’ needs
* Adherent to venue dress code policy
* Ensure guest safety through proactive personal interaction and removing hazards in the area of responsibility
* Safeguard against theft and property damage
* Attend pre-shift meeting conducted by Manager on Duty prior to start of each shift
** WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
*** Ability to work late hours
* Flexible schedule
* Cash handling experience
* Excellent organizational skills a must
* At least one year work experience interacting with people in a positive environment
* Read, write and speak English fluently
* Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
* Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful
* Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
* Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques
* Preferred  + Bi-lingual a plus  + Experience in a live music environment a plus  + Prior Customer service experience a plus
