Event and Delegate Registration Manager

We are looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) Event and Delegate Registration Manager who can support our growing Events department. As an Event and Delegate Registration Manager, you will have a diverse and varied role. You’ll collaborate with our global teams to support company initiatives and uncover innovative solutions, while taking a proactive approach to your day-to-day responsibilities. Weekend and on-call coverage may be required for this position.
Responsibilities& Duties:
- Own the end-to-end delegate registration process across multiple corporate events and programs.
- Build, configure and manage sophisticated Cvent registration websites, including registration paths, admission items, sessions, travel questions, hotel requirements, custom fields, logic and attendee categories.
- Manage Cvent event builds from initial requirements gathering and testing through launch, live management and post-event reporting.
- Create and manage attendee communications, including invitations, confirmations, reminders, updates and event-specific messaging.
- Maintain accurate attendee data and proactively identify and resolve registration or data issues.
- Build dashboards, reports and data exports tailored to client and internal team requirements.
- Manage rooming lists, travel information, dietary requirements, accessibility needs, session selections and other attendee data as required.
- Serve as the Cvent subject-matter expert for the US Events team, providing guidance, troubleshooting and best-practice recommendations.
- Train and support other team members using Cvent and help establish consistent registration processes and standards across the department.
- Identify opportunities to improve our Cvent builds, workflows, automation, reporting and overall attendee experience.
- Partner closely with Event Directors, Event Managers and Coordinators to ensure registration is fully integrated into the wider event plan.
- Manage multiple registration projects simultaneously while meeting client deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Communicate directly with clients, providing a proactive and consultative approach to registration strategy and attendee management.
- Support event planning and logistics as required, particularly on larger or more complex programs.
- Travel onsite to events to manage registration desks, attendee check-in, guest queries and other event operations.
- Provide onsite operational support to the wider Events team, which may include guest movements, transportation, activities, meetings, dinners and other event logistics.
- Support VIP and executive attendees with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Work collaboratively with TAG's wider US and global teams.
- Keep up to date with Cvent developments, event technology and registration best practices, recommending new functionality and improvements where appropriate.
- In lieu of education, an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Cvent experience (Required)
- Advanced knowledge of Cvent registration website builds and attendee management. (Required)
- Demonstrable experience building and managing complex registration programs independently within Cvent. (Required)
- Strong knowledge of attendee data management, reporting, communications, registration logic and troubleshooting. (Required)
- Previous corporate event management or event operations experience. (Required)
- Experience supporting events onsite, including registration and attendee-facing operations. (Required)
