You're the life of the party. You make first-timers feel like rock stars and keep the crowd fully alive between sets. If you love music, love people, and thrive in a live atmosphere — this role was built for you.

As a Karaoke Host at Pro Stylez Entertainment, you are the show. You'll host and manage karaoke events at bars, private parties, corporate events, and venues across the Capital Region — creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome on stage, whether they're a seasoned performer or singing in public for the very first time.

Your job isn't just to play songs. It's to read the room, build energy, make every singer feel like a star, and keep the night flowing seamlessly from open to close.

Day-to-Day

Responsibilities

Host Karaoke Events

Be the face of Pro Stylez Entertainment at every event — engaging with participants and ensuring a smooth, fun, and memorable experience for everyone in the room.

Create and Maintain Energy

Encourage and motivate participants to sing, engage with the audience, and maintain a positive and inclusive environment. You set the tone for the entire night.

Set Up and Operate Equipment

Set up and run karaoke equipment including microphones, sound systems, and screens to deliver high-quality audio and visuals at every event.

Manage the Queue

Help participants choose songs, manage the singer queue, and keep the event flowing fairly so everyone gets their moment in the spotlight.

Handle Technical Issues

Troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and calmly to minimize disruption. Keep things moving no matter what gets thrown at you.

Represent the Brand

Every event is a reflection of Pro Stylez Entertainment. Professional appearance, punctual arrival, and a great attitude are non-negotiables.

What We're Looking For

Requirements

Previous hosting or entertainment experience is a plus — but passion and personality matter more

Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you're comfortable owning a room

Knowledge of karaoke equipment and technology — or willingness to learn quickly

A genuine passion for music and the ability to connect with diverse audiences

High energy, a great sense of humor, and natural enthusiasm for entertaining

Reliable, punctual, and professional — you're representing a brand people trust
