JOB SUMMARY AND DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE WORK

The Director, Event Programming & Operations owns event programming within One Times Square. This position determines what happens in the building's spaces, when, and how, and owns and manages all activity within those spaces, the master calendar, and communications to all working groups. The sales teams across multiple channels support this position by sourcing, selling, and closing the events and activations that fit the programming strategy, and the Director sets sales goals and KPIs with Sales leadership and holds those teams accountable for meeting them.

The Director also owns the P&L for all events. Secondary to programming, the Director owns the execution of all events, from handoff after contract through load-in, event day, load-out, and post-event close-out. The Director also builds the processes, SOPs, and client-facing resources that explain how the space can be activated, and serves as the connective tissue between Sales, Guest Experience, Property Management, and Marketing, ensuring every event is delivered safely, on brand, and in a way that protects the building and its tenants.

This is a 5 day in office, on-site role at our One Times Square location.
