As a Commercial Lending Officer, you'll be the driving force behind our commercial lending growth strategy. You'll develop strong client relationships aligned to our Vision, Mission and Values, and structure lending solutions that help businesses thrive.

$130,000 - $145,000 annually, based on experience.

• Adhere to HFCU Vision, Mission and Values in all interactions with members.
• Develop, originate, manage and underwrite C&I loans and commercial real estate loans meeting established lending requirements.
• Establish and negotiate loan terms, pricing and collateral consistent with policies.
• Approve and decline loans within lending authority; recommend loans above authority.
• Maintain monthly tickler reports and complete reporting accurately.
• Review, recommend and implement commercial lending policies and procedures.
• Attend department and Credit Union meetings, present summary information.
• Conduct borrower site visits to promote member experience.
• Participate in business development events, cross-sell commercial products.
• Answer internal and external member inquiries, resolve problems and provide best-in-class member experience.

Experience: 5+ years in Commercial Lending with an established book of business in the field of membership.

Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry certifications.

Knowledge: Bank Secrecy Act requirements, Commercial/Business Lending, Consumer Lending, Commercial Underwriting, Loan Servicing and market conditions.

Skills/Abilities: Excellent project management, communication and analytical skills; ability to influence and sell ideas; professional appearance and positive attitude.
