Are you a Trading Assistant or Business Analyst with strong front office exposure? Want to play a key role in building out risk controls across global trading desks? This could be your next move.

We're working with a top-tier financial institution looking to bring in a hands-on, inquisitive Front Office Trading Analyst on a 6-month contract. This role sits within the First Line Risk team, partnering directly with traders, desk leads, and control teams to deep-dive into systems, processes, and controls.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Engaging with traders across Rates, FX, and Equities to unpack trading workflows and understand intraday risk management
• Gathering granular detail on systems and control environments, and identifying gaps or inconsistencies
• Documenting and enhancing the Process Risk and Control (PRC) inventory with a front-to-back view of risk
• Mapping out key risk tools, system dependencies, and supervision/resiliency practices across desks
• Supporting the wider Operational Risk and COO functions in shaping a clear, cross-product view of front office risk

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has hands-on experience in front office trading environments (think Trading Assistant, Front Office Risk, or strong BA with trading desk exposure)
• Knows the trade lifecycle and can confidently navigate systems like Fidessa, T-Bricks, or equivalent trading/risk platforms
• Is naturally curious and asks the right questions to dig beneath the surface
• Brings excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement—you’ll be talking to traders daily
• Can interpret, assess, and document control environments in a clear and concise way
