Retail Banker

General Summary and Objective:

The position of Retail Banker I is responsible for assisting the Bank's customers with their day-to-day banking needs and offering products that will enhance the service provided. This position is also responsible for providing prompt, efficient and courteous service to the Bank's customers.

General Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• To provide an exceptional service experience, every time!
• Must have excellent communication and telephone skills.
• Promote business for the Bank by providing a superior level of customer relations and service within assigned branch and the Bank.
• Represent the Bank to the customer in a courteous, professional manner and provide prompt, efficient and accurate service while processing transactions.
• Ensure service standards are met within assigned branch.
• Executes financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures while maintaining a balancing record of 90% or more each quarter.
• Perform routine branch duties including safe deposit.
• Maintain working knowledge of products and services offered by the bank.
• Protect the interest of the bank and minimize loss through adherence to security measures and other policies and procedures.
• Assist in attaining established bank and branch goals through active participation in the incentive and referral programs.
• Must be active in cross selling the Bank's products and services.
• This is a full-time position performed in a regular office environment, Monday through Saturday, Retail Branch Banking hours. Travel is required.
• Assist in other branches as needed. This position operates in an office setting. The role routinely uses standard office equipment.
