About the job Tax Manager/Tax Senior Manager
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for a hybrid CPA, Tax Manager/Tax Senior Manager role with their company. This is a unique opportunity that offers a ton of growth potential, including a fast-track to Partner. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to manage client relationships and provide top-quality tax and consulting services, including tax planning, research, estate and gift taxes, business valuation, and consulting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for their tax and consulting needs
- Provide top-quality tax planning, research, and consulting services to clients
- Prepare and review tax returns for small businesses and individuals
- Experience in estate and trust tax is preferred
- Conduct business valuations and provide consulting services to clients
- Work with and manage a team of accountants in a small business setting
- Stay current with tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance for clients
- Train and mentor junior staff members to help them reach their full potential
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for business growth and client retention
- Active CPA license
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in tax planning, research, and compliance
- Experience with estate and gift taxes and business valuations
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in tax software and MS Office
- Experience with Pro System fx Tax and Quick Books is a plus
