- Handling tax in a large, sophisticated organization by applying knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes and devising strategic outcomes for complex issues.
- Lead teams and work in a highly collaborative culture, listening to and sharing information with colleagues as an essential part of the role.
- Provide up-to-date tax advice to a diverse client base as part of diverse tax planning projects, with opportunities to progress your career.
- Analyze evolving portfolios of increasingly complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
- Identify opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients.
- Learn and research current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Build client relationships with deep knowledge of the real estate, hospitality and construction industry.
- Develop clear, intelligent plans to improve clients tax activities.
- Research clients business operations and tailor advice to their specific needs.
- Supervise a motivated team of professionals, ensuring they have the skills and opportunities to reach their potential.
- A bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- Seven to ten years real estate tax experience in a professional services environment.
- Extensive knowledge in real estate tax technical and transaction skills, including partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring.
- Experience managing budgets, people and projects.
- Business development within the market.
- A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
- Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
- Ability to prioritize on multiple complex projects; strong influencing skills and confidence to question existing processes.
- Willingness to travel as needed; able to work in a balanced hybrid environment.
- CPA qualification or be a member of a state bar.

CompensationThe salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr individual salaries are determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
