Senior Tax Manager

Base pay range

$65.00/hr - $75.00/hr

Our client, a growing Management Consulting firm with offices in New York, NY is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join their growing Private Client team. Candidates must have a strong foundation in high-net-worth individual tax compliance and experience across trusts, estates, and pass-through entities.

• Lead and manage tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and private entities
• Oversee preparation and review of federal and state tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1041, gift and estate tax filings
• Apply fiduciary accounting concepts to complex estate and trust situations
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, managing workflow and quality control
• Collaborate with partners and wealth advisors on estate and wealth transfer strategies

• 8+ years of tax experience in public accounting or a private client group
• Strong expertise in high-net-worth individual tax and pass-through entities (S corps, partnerships)
• Experience with estate tax, gift tax, fiduciary income tax, and tax-exempt entity returns
• Broad exposure to trust and estate work (but not exclusively focused in this area)
• Prior experience supervising and developing junior staff
